Hi y'all! My name is Jamie, creator and the face behind Coastal Clay Company and I am super thankful that you decided to stop by!  I live in Northwest Florida where my husband retired from the Air Force. We have two awesome kids that keep us super busy with activities and sports!  It's hectic but so much fun!  

My journey with using clay began about 4 years ago, but prior to that, I had dabbled in making cakes.  To me, the best part of doing cakes was blending colors with the fondant and forming all the components for decorating the cake; that was a perfect creative outlet for me, but I never truly loved the cake baking part of the process.  Long story short, I finally decided after about 10 years to put that aside and seek another creative route.  I played around with a couple of mediums until I finally discovered polymer clay and I immediately fell in love. For me, it was so similar to working with fondant, blending the clay colors and making a creation AND, the best part, no cake baking involved!! God knew exactly what I needed when I needed it! I am passionate about every single step of the clay process and can't get enough.  

More recently, I have been quite curious about the laser cutting world and with my husband being into woodworking, we thought it would be fun to journey along together and see what we can create. So we decided to take the plunge and we are super pumped to see what new things are in store for CCC!
